Vom Bahnhof Eschenlohe aus geht es durch Eschenlohe hindurch über die Loisach hinweg auf die Wanderstrecke in Richtung Sieben Quellen. An den Sieben Quellen vorbei beim Golfplatz nach links in den Wasserfallrundweg einbiegen. Nach Durchquerung der Schlucht der Fahrmannsleine weiter in Richtung Ursprünge. Am Kuhfluchtgraben geht es dann ca. 800 Meter relativ steil hinauf zu den Kuhfluchtfällen. Im Anschluss wieder zurück führt der Weg durch den Waldlehrpfad hinunter nach Farchant.
