This tour takes us around the Zinnkopf near Siegsdorf. We shorten the wide forest road again and again on trail sections, which makes this round varied.

This tour takes us through the wooded heights of the 1228 m high Zinnkopf in the Chiemgau Alps. Wide forest paths lead around the mountain peak, which can be shortened again and again on narrow paths. After a steep ascent, the trail goes gently up and down before rolling back down a little steeper. There are refreshment stops in Siegsdorf, but not during the tour.

Turn-by-turn directions

We start this mountain bike tour around the Zinnkopf at the train station in Siegsdorf. There we orientate ourselves along the Weiße Traum, a stream,  towards the south. We cross the village road and turn left towards Schöneck. Behind the houses, we turn right and immediately follow the narrow path on the left through the forest. Thus we meet the forest road again and follow it uphill to the right. Immediately after the Spatzretter ditch, a path begins on our left. After a short stretch of forest, we meet the forest road again, continue left and turn right at the next crossroads. Now we cross a few streams until we reach the next junction, where we decide to take the left path. A little later we continue our tour first to the left and then to our right on the path. After crossing the forest road once, we follow it southwards after a short trail section. Then we continue to the left and circle the 1228 m high Zinnkopf on the forest road. Keep to the left in front of the Rabenmoos service hut. Southeast of the mountain peak we cycle through the Miesing and Rindermoos. Behind the Rabenmoos service hut we reach a T-junction and turn left. Behind the Spannmoos, we continue in a westerly direction to the idyllic Siebersee. About 1.3 km behind the small lake, our route describes a bend to the right. At the next junction it finally bends to the left. About 1 km later, we decide to take the right path, which again leads to a forest road. There we follow the somewhat narrower path straight north through a piece of forest and across meadows. Shortly before Wolfsberg, we continue to the right. A little north of Wolfberg we meet the road that takes us back to Siegsdorf on the left.
