Das Knonaueramt, oder Säuliamt wie es im Volksmund heisst, besticht nicht nur durch seine Nähe zu Zürich, sondern auch durch seine lieblichen Landschaften abseits der grossen Pfade

Der grösste Teil dieser Route liegt in der Agglomeration Zürich. Dennoch fährt man von Muri aus vor allem durch weites Landwirtschaftsland. Die reizvollen Tälchen mit ihren Bächen bieten Natur pur, bevor man dann im Aufstieg den Mutschellen erreicht. Die liebliche Landschaft des Reusstales mit dem Flachsee bildet den versöhnlichen Abschluss.

Ab dem Kreisel in Muri auf Route 84 von Schweiz Mobil bis zur Kaserne Birmensdorf. Dort auf der Route 51 bis Reppischtal, wo ein kantonaler Radweg über Rudolfstetten nach Bremgarten, weiter dem Flachsee entlang nach Unterlunkhofen und über die Reuss nach Rottenschwil führt. Dort auf die Route 77 von SchweizMobil bis Aristau wechseln, um dann auf einer kantonalen Route ansteigend zum Zielpunkt Muri zu gelangen.
