Großartige Rundwanderung im Hochgebirge am Timmelsjoch - über den Knappenweg zur Schneeberghütte bis zum Großen Schwarzsee und der Timmelsalm
Von der Timmelsbrücke geht es auf Markierung 29 über Tomelekaser und die Obergostalm in Richtung Schneebergersee. Von hier über den Knappensteig hinauf zur Schneeberghütte. Der Markierung weiter folgend wandert man hinauf auf die Karlscharte und hinunter zum Timmelsbach. Von hier führt die Tour zum Großen Schwarzsee. Links ab und hinunter zur idyllisch gelegenen Timmelsalm. Nach einer erholsamen Einkehr geht es auf einem gemütlichen Güterweg zurück zum Ausgangspunkt an der Timmelsjochstraße.
