Ruhpolding is a winter sports El Dorado: for skiers, snowboarders, cross-country skiers, ski tourers, but of course also for tobogganers. At the foot of the Unternberg, between the Raffneralm and Stocking, lies the exciting and well prepared toboggan run in Ruhpolding. The ascent path runs separately to the toboggan run, so that a beautiful and relaxed winter hike precedes the tobogganing fun. Furthermore, we have an additional place to stop here, the vineyard. The Raffneralm is also very traditional, and this is where the fast track starts, on which we whiz back down into the valley. There are no curves on the rather steep track and snow is guaranteed due to the northern exposure: So it's not for tobogganing beginners!

Turn-by-turn directions

The ascent path leads in a few bends from the starting point first to the Weingarten mountain inn, for this we follow the signs. From there the trail leads straight up to the Raffneralm at 900 m, where we can stop for a break and then start our toboggan run. The entrance to the track is about 100 m below the restaurant. We whiz straight along the Weingartengraben, follow it in a slight curve at the end and reach our starting point again.
