This tour is quite demanding, but beautifully embedded in the landscape, so that the ascent to the Denk-Alm is always worthwhile.

With a view of the Brauneck, we can start here on a challenging toboggan tour. After a foot climb, the cosy Denk-Alm invites you to take a break before heading back down to Lenggries with your senses wide awake. Due to the steep passages and tight bends, this tour is more suitable for experienced tobogganists.

Turn-by-turn directions

From the car park we leave Lenggries behind us and soon reach a wooden bridge. At first the path is fairly flat through meadows, but it starts to get steeper at the left-hand bend. We walk uphill for about 20 minutes through a forest until, shortly before reaching the Denk-Alm, the feeling becomes even stronger and we have well and truly earned a stop for refreshments.
Immediately after the start, full concentration is demanded of us, as the bends are really narrow and steep. We pick up speed and have to be particularly vigilant to avoid flying off course. But already it gets calmer again, we drive out of the forest and stay on the track at all costs, as the path is partly surrounded by barbed wire. After a few adrenaline rushes we reach our starting point again.
