Turn-by-turn directions
- We start at the village square in Fischbach and walk leisurely to the elementary school
- Between the elementary school and the cemetery we turn right to the Roseggersiedlung and follow the hiking trail number 1.
- We walk uphill along the asphalt road until we reach a forest and a meadow surrounded by fairy tale figures.
- We can turn the fairy tale path to the left to discover even more fairy tale figures
- We cross the meadow and continue on a forest path until we reach the Finsterloch cross
- From there we go straight on until we come to a crossroads where we turn right.
- Now we are on the path n. 15
- We go around the so-called Reithkogel on a forest path
- We follow the path until we come back to the Finsterloch cross
- From there we go back the same way until we reach the village square Fischbach

Anreise von Wien: Über die Südautobahn A2 und die Semmering-Schnellstraße S6 bis zur Abfahrt Kindberg. Hier durch das Stanzertal auf der Schanzsattel-Landesstraße L114 nach Fischbach.
Anreise von Graz: Über die Weizer-Bundesstraße B72 bis Birkfeld und ab hier über die Schanzsattel-Landesstraße L114 nach Fischbach.
Anreise von Linz/Salzburg/München: Über die Pyhrnautobahn A9 und die Semmering-Schnellstraße S6 bis zur Abfahrt Kindberg. Weiter wie oben.

Proper backpacking makes a lot of things easier!
Pack heavy things first. The water bottle should always be within easy reach in a side pocket. All things that are often needed such as sunglasses, camera or hiking map, belong on top. An emergency kit including blister plaster belongs in every backpack and a clothing according to the "onion system" is always recommended! A good hiking shoe is a good companion and should never be missing on the mountain! Before the start of the hike, check the possibilities for refreshments and their opening times, or pack the appropriate food.
