Idyllic tour with steep climbs on asphalt and forest roads, short stages on the R7, the Enns bike path and partly also steep descents. The tour always goes through beautiful natural landscapes and offers wonderful views.
Weather changes, rapid drops in temperature, thunderstorms, wind and fog are objective dangers and require the right behaviour on the road. Lack of equipment, overconfidence, carelessness, poor condition and a wrong assessment can lead to critical situations. During thunderstorms: Avoid peaks, ridges and trees!

From the village square in Pruggern in the direction of Galsterberg, then left after ca. 500 m. Now comes the first climb to the Michaelerberghaus. After dropping down to Moosheim, the next climb takes you from Tunzendorf up the Gelsenberg. A 2 km gravel road leads to Dörfl where, after a short ride on the road towards Kleinsölk, you soon come to the most beautiful part of the tour. After passing the Sölk marble works, a steep downhill path across meadows brings you to the “Strub”. Now, a forest path leads across the Klein- and Großsölkbach to the other side of Sölktal. Here, you will have to get off and push (ca. 80 vertical meters) up to a country road leading you down to Stein an der Enns. The tour continues via Ratting up the Mitterberg and from there to Gröbming. From the market square along a path next to the B320. At the turnoff for Kulm, a final 350 vm climb towards Ackerl. The ca. 3 km downhill ride to Pruggern begins with a single-trail. This ride can be avoided by staying on the road from Gröbming to Moosheim, followed by a pleasant ride on the R7 back to the start.
