Ausgehend von der Kirche in St. Georgen führt uns der Weg Nr. 2 auf den Frankenberg. Von hier ist ein traumhafter Ausblick über das Gemeindegebiet von Rennweg und über die Hafnergruppe (Großer Hafner über 3.000 Hm) garantiert. Der Rückweg erfolgt über die Ortschaft Aschbach, dann abbiegen nach St. Georgen zum Ausgangspunkt.

From the church follow signpost no. 2 uphill until you reach a forest path (old path) that leads into the forest and to Oberfrankenberg. Here there is a beautiful view down to Rennweg. Follow the asphalted road down to Unterfrankenberg and continue to Aschbach. Turn right below Aschbach following signpost no. 1 along a forest path, passing a small chapel, back to St. Georgen.

Note: from Oberfrankenberg you can carry on to Teuerlnock by following trail no. 111a, which takes you through forests and meadows.
