Turn-by-turn directions
Left past the huts, along the foothills of the Sturzhahn uphill always following the winter markings. Under the rock walls up to the Traglhals. At the Traglhals keep sharp left and continue to the summit of the Großer Tragl. You will be rewarded for the ascent with a wonderful panoramic view.
Descent: from the summit keep left to the saddle and into the Haberboden. Partly steep, partly flat descent through Langkar to Ödernalm. Renewed (steep) ascent northeast-sided in the direction of Großsee to Tauplitzalm.
Avalanche-safe conditions necessary due to the steep slope crossing on the descent!
By road
The best way to plan your journey to the Tauplitzalm is with google.at/maps.A ten-kilometer toll road leads from Bad Mitterndorf to the Tauplitzalm.
Parking
At the end of the Tauplitzalm alpine road there is a large parking lot where there is enough parking space.Coordinates
