Versteckte, einsame Gipfel gehören in den Tegernseer Bergen sicherlich zu einer aussterbenden Gattung. Der Silberkopf als kleiner Nachbar des Hirschbergs ist allerdings noch ein echter Geheimtipp. Da sie selten begangen wird, sollte die technisch leichte Tour allerdings nur von Schneeschuhwanderern mit gutem Orientierungssinn angegangen werden.

Turn-by-turn directions

Von der Hütte über die Lichtung hinab zum Forstweg Nr. 607b. Auf diesem zunächst Richtung Süden, anschließend Richtung Westen, bis nach rechts (auf Höhe 1285 m) ein Forstweg Richtung Hischberg abzweigt. An einer Forsthütte vorbei geht es über sanft geneigte Almwiesen zur Weidbergalm. Anschließend Richtung Westen dem freien, kreuzlosen Gipfel entgegen.

Abstieg wie Aufstieg.
