Turn-by-turn directions

From the village square of Losenstein (church), the trail leads up the Kirchenberg, further on via hiking trail E74 to the Fatima Chapel and from there on towards Sauzahn. Before Sauzahn, at the old lime tree, go left along the Brettertal estate road down to Laussa.

From the Laussa parish church, walk to the Geiger inn, from there take the steep meadow path towards Sonnberg. At the Breitn Chapel, turn left and follow the Rotbauer Güterweg (goods path) along the Flößerweg (raftsmen's path).

After a long uphill stretch, past the Schneiderweg holiday farm, you reach the turnoff to the ridge of the Sonnberg. From here, follow the long-distance hiking trail 04/06, pass the Laussa wind farm, then the Spadenberg and arrive at Maria Neustift via the Glasenberg - a detour to the summit is very worthwhile because of the view and the panorama of pre-Alpine peaks.
