Turn-by-turn directions

Wir starten unsere Tour an der Talstation der Stubaier Gletscherbahn. Nach der Auffahrt zur Dresdner Hütte beginnen wir unsere Wanderung mit dem Aufstieg auf den Egesengrat, mit ständigem Blick auf das Geltscherskigebiet mit den umliegenden Gipfeln. Hinter dem Egesengrat steigen wir kurz in die Wilde Grube ab, bevor der Steig wieder leicht gen Mutterberger See ansteigt. Dort angekommen werden wir eine ausgiebige Rast machen, Wagemutige können sich als Bergsee-Schwimmer versuchen oder einfach nur die Seele baumeln lassen.

Der Abstieg führt uns erst über Schafweiden, später durch Rhododendronbüsche und lichte Zirbenwälder hinunter bis nach Mutterberg, wo wir von unserem Shuttle wieder abgeholt werden.
