Diese Mal überbrücken wir die ersten Höhenmeter und lassen uns von der Gletscherbahn zur Dresdener Hütte (Mittelstation) bringen. Von hier aus folgen wir der Beschilderung zum Mutterberger See. Mit ein wenig Glück begegnet man auf dem Weg auch immer wieder mal ein paar Murmeltieren, die sich gerne im Bereich der Geröllfelder aufhalten. Am See angekommen genießen wir erstmal den atemberaubenden Ausblick, bevor es im Anschluss wieder in Richtung Tal (Mutterberg) geht.
