This beautiful trail runs along man-made water channels and takes in themed walks. The splendid scenery and landscapes are particularly spectacular in spring and autumn.

The Meran Waalweg trail consists of 8 short hikes, 84 km in total, known as the "Meran Waalweg Trail".  This circuit trail connects 11 irrigation channels, including the irrigation channels of Scena, Marlengo and Rablà. The Start point is Tel from where the trail runs along the irrigation channels of Lagundo and Caines leading to the village of Saltusio in the Val Passiria. From here the trail continues along the irrigation channels of Maia and Scena to the village of Naif, and finally downhill via Postal to Lana. From here the trail continues along the irrigation channels of Brandis, Ciermes and Marlengo and takes you back to Tel.
