Aufstieg: vom Michaelaberghaus (1.200 m) der Beschilderung folgen im dichten Waldgelände über einen steilen Hohlweg höher.
Bei einer Wegkruzung (1.420m) nach Links über Wanderweg 23 Richtung Kniepass und über Weg 22 zum Gipfel.
Abfahrt: der Aufstiegsspur kurz zurück folgen, bis vor einem markanten Felsen - Einfahrt nach Links ins Waldgelände.
Über Wald, freie Hänge und Forstwege zurück zum Michaelaberghaus, oder bis ins Tal zum Bahnhof Gröbming in Moosheim.
