Hikes from Vernagt to Senales to Lake Finailsee

This stunning lake is situated in a large rocky hollow to the north of the large Vernagt reservoir.
From Naturns-Naturno walk along the Schnals-Senales Valley up to the Vernagt reservoir (1,710 m, hotel). Route 2 takes you northwards to the nearby Tisenhof mountain hut (1,814 m) where you turn left onto route 9 (1,953 m, stop for refreshments; at least 1 hour). From here follow route 8, which goes up a solitary valley and leads to the Finailalm alpine hut (2,307 m, with shepherd's hut) and lake (2,690 m; 2 hours from Finail). Return via the same route (2 hours).
