Von Gasthof Schönau nach Rabeslau und Moos in Passeier. Dort Wechsel auf den Weg durch die Passerschlucht. Kurz vor St. Leonhard in Passeier wechsel auf den Meraner Höhenweg. Über Christl und Matatz nach Magdfeld.

Bei meiner Alpenüberquerung habe ich komplett auf Hilfsmittel (Bahn, Taxi, Seilbahn, Materialseilbahn) verzichtet und bin in 9 Etappen von Oberstdorf nach Meran komplett gewandert. Bei meiner Variante ging es kurz vor St. Leonhard über den Meraner Höhenweg nach Meran.

Etappe 3: Memminger Hütte - Zams Skihütte

Etappe 4: Zams Skihütte - Wenns - Wiese (Pitztal)

Etappe 5: Wiese (Pitztal) - Mittelberg - Braunschweiger Hütte

Etappe 6: Braunschweiger Hütte - Zwieselstein

Etappe 7: Zwieselstein - Gasthof Schönau

Etappe 8: Gasthof Schönau - Moos - Passerschlucht - Magdfeld (Meraner Höhenweg)
