1. Etappe von Regensburg nach Pfakofen
Das Gebiet südlich von Regensburg ist landschaftlich nicht ohne Reiz. Manchmal bietet das Hügelland weite Ausblicke in die Donauebene und auf den Bayerischen Wald, dann wieder trifft der Pilger auf ein romantisches Bachtal oder auf ien Wäldchen. problematisch wird ie Etappe, weil es wenig Gastronomie und damit wenige Nächtigungsmöglichkeiten gibt. Daher wird als Etappenziel der kleine Ort Pfakofen vorgeschlagen, wo Pilger in einer Pension Quartier finden. Dem Wolfgangpilger wird es übrigens ein Anliegen sein, die Wolfgangseiche bei Neueglofsheim zu besuchen, auch wenn es einen kleinen Umweg erfordert.
