Ascent:
From the parking lot of the Griesner Alm, hike on an initially wide gravel path and later on a trail through the forest towards the Stripsenjochhaus. Before the last climb in serpentines to the Stripsenjochhaus, turn left onto the Eggersteig 812 until you reach the foot of the Fleischbank peak. From here on, the trail is very exposed and only partially rope-secured. After a traverse of the Nordabbruch, you reach the fascinating Steinerne Rinne. Hemmed in by the imposing walls of Predigtstuhl and Fleischbank, you climb in many serpentines through the Steinerne Rinne to the Ellmauer Tor. Enjoy the impressive landscape with its rock formations and with a bit of luck you can observe climbers in the walls of Fleischbank or Predigtstuhl.
A relaxing break with views to the north and south awaits you at Ellmauer Tor.

If you still have enough strength - you can also climb to the summit of the Hintere Goinger Halt (2,192 m) in about 45 minutes. The path is narrow, exposed (especially in the area shortly before the summit) and only secured with an iron chain in a short passage. The panoramic view, however, is worthwhile, especially with the views into the "interior" of the Wilder Kaiser to the Fritz Pflaum Hut.

Descent: From the Ellmauer Tor, head south through the Kübelkar cirque to the Gaudeamushütte mountain hut. Enjoy a well-deserved refreshment and let your impressions pass in review with a fantastic panorama. The last part of the tour you hike comfortably on the forest road in about 30 min downhill to the Wochenbrunner Alm.

Requirements: a good head for heights and surefootedness; HELMET for protection against rock fall
Recommended: climbing harness and via ferrata set
