Elmauer Alm, built in 1924, belongs to the world famous Schloss Elmau in Alpenwelt Karwendel and lies on a mountain ridge at roughly 1,200 metres, offering impressive views of the Wetterstein mountains with Germany's highest summit - the Zugspitze (2,962 m). Elmauer Alm is open in nice weather and is particularly popular as a cosy excursion destination for both holidaymakers and locals visitors.
