Walking East Yorkshire Festival

Walking East Yorkshire Festival
Welcome to Walking East Yorkshire Festival, your chance to experience wild cliffs, peaceful sand dunes and the natural wonders of the Yorkshire Wolds.
Whether you are a walker, cyclist, horse rider, nature lover or history enthusiast, the annual East Yorkshire Festival offers plenty of activities, appealing to families, casual walkers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Guided walks take in the rolling landscape that inspired David Hockney’s painted tributes to the Yorkshire Wolds, and the rich heritage coastline with chalk cliffs and an abundance of wildlife, whilst the flat plains of Holderness are ideal for cycling along quiet country roads, disused railway lines or even a jaunt to the tip of Spurn Point’s peninsula.
The next festival will take place from Saturday 9 - Friday 22 September 2023, and you are invited to visit the Walking East Yorkshire Festival website for further information.
Whilst plans for this festival are yet to be finalised, previous festivals have included a huge range of activities, including history tours of local market towns, long-distance treks, Nordic walking, canal boat rides, horse riding, wildlife experiences, seabird cruises, vineyard tours, brewery visits, ghost walks, lighthouse tours, and outdoor pursuits including kayaking, bodyboarding and wild swimming.
