Uxbridge to West Drayton via Iver Heath, Pinewood Studios, Black Park, Langley Park, Iver & Grand Union Canal Slough arm.
This route uses the path next to roads up to Pinewood Studios. From there until the entrance to Black Park you'll be walking on the road or verge but the road wasn't busy on my walk.
Although it's tempting to see the backlot at Pinewood, they've now built an earth mound at the boundary with Black Park so nothing to see any more apart from the back walls of the studio buildings.
In Black Park you may wish to deviate from the route on a whim to see where you end up but you want to eventually head towards the lake.
Leaving Black Park and crossing the road into Langley Park can be difficult. It's a busy dual carriageway.
Langley Park is more of an ornamental garden than the woods of Black Park. Much of it was designed by Capability Brown and there are lots of flowering bushes.
Leaving Langley Park walk towards Iver. Turn right at the church along Thorney Road North. Just after crossing over the canal there is a short footpath on your right leading to the towpath Turn right on to the towpath.
Shortly after crossing the River Colne turn onto the Colne valley trail which will lead you to Trout Road. Cross over the main Grand Union Canal and turn right onto its towpath.
After a while turn right onto Beeches Way path which leads to Trout Road. Turn right along Tavistock Road until you reach West Drayton Station.
