Loop hike Bonnieux - Buoux (Luberon)

Beautiful varied circuit hike from Bonnieux to Buoux following nearly every peak along the way. Includes some beautiful viewpoints and visits to the Prieuré St Symphorien and Fort Buoux.

The route follows mostly dirt roads and single trails only very small sections of paved road. There are some nearly overgrown parts but still very doable with GPS tracking.

Although circumventing many peaks this hike does not involve more than 900 meters ascent of which none to strenuous and only one steeper 200 meter climb.


Can be done as a long day-trek or as part of a multi-day trek with a good gite d'étape at Seguin (a bit over half-way) and good wild camping options just before on the ridge (not allowed under French law without consent of the owner and not allowed during summer nor in general in Vallon).
