London Loop Stage 06 Hayes to Moor Park

This is stage 6 of 12 stages of the official London LOOP route.  The full walk descriptions can be downloaded from the TFL web site.  This route corresponds to official stages 11 to 13

Navigation is mostly straightforward, much of this section is along the towpath of the Grand Union Canal.  Take care at the section through Stockley Park when exiting from the avenue of trees by the golf clubhouse, waymarks are not plentiful here and the walk description should be followed as closely as possible, there is also a short footpath diversion currently in place just past this point but it is well signposted. 

Also note, section through Lackwell Wood (Bishop's Wood Country Park) can be  very overgrown in places with brambles and nettles, take care.

Although this section is the longest one planned, it does run directly between two rail stations, breaking this stage up would be possible but would involve bus travel back to the start or Uxbridge station.
