Goodrich Castle Walk

This predominantly flat, riverside route has two short but steep climbs near the start and finish. The first is to the summit of Coppet Hill, a splendid vantage point overlooking the Wye Valley. Once off the ridge, the walk follows the river through a pleasant mix of meadows and woodland. There is an attractive church in Welsh Bicknor, as well as a former railway bridge and tunnel. A final steep climb to Goodrich completes the round.
