This itinerary is long, challenging and not so easy to manage.
You will cross two alpine passes (Passo del Cornera and Passo della Rossa) and you will enjoy some amazing panoramas. In some parts, especially Cornera pass, the phone signal, will be truly weak so you will be for some hours without the possibility to use the mobile phone. The excursion is 50/100 in Italy and 50/100 in Switzerland.
During the route you will pass close to bivacs and lodges so you do not have to do the whole ring exclusively in one day - it is up to you.

It's a really long excursion that will take you in the middle of nothing so prepare yourself in terms of stamina. Water is quite common so you should be able to refill your water bottles without any problem.
Passo della Rossa and Passo del Cornera are the two alpine passes. In these parts the path become complex follow so proceed carefully.
AVOID this excursion if the weather is bad. Low visibility could comport dangerous situation especially at Passo della Rossa.

From Alpe Devero follow the indications to Lago Nero.
From Lago Nero take to Buscagna and when at Alpe Buscagna take to path on the right to Bivacco Combi-Lanza. From this point the track starts to be challenging due to its steep so prepare your legs.
When at Bivacco Combi-Lanza proceed to Criegelpass/Passo del Cornera, enjoy the stunning view and prepare yourself for a really challenging experience: around 2 hours of descent on a infinte expanse of rocks.
You will leave Italy and will enter in Switzerland so the indications will shift from red to blue dots. This is a white-spot so you mobile phone here will not have signal.
In few hours you will pass from the magnificent desolation of the alpine pass to a blooming forest where you will find the first town: Heiligkreuz. From there take the path, or the road, to Binn.
When in Binn you will be perfectly at the half part of this tour so consider, in case, to have rest and start the second part of this tour the day after.
From Binn follow the indications to Geisspfadsee or to Alpe Devero. In 4-6 hours you will reach Geisspfadsee and from there simply follow to Alpe Devero.
IMPORTANT: in case of fog or bad weather is better to AVOID Passo della Rossa because it is really easy to lose the path and it could be quite dangerous.
