Lovely walk just south of Haltwhistle in Northumberland. Takes in breathtaking scenery and the Lambley Viaduct which is Victorian in origin and quite a spectacle.

Lovely walk in beautiful countryside south of Haltwhistle. The Lambley Viaduct is amazing, Victorian architecture and detail. The trail along the viaduct had been blocked by wooden gates, how this was allowed one can only speculate, which means cyclists or the disabled have to go down steps and around the building. Lovely wooded glades and tracks are rough and muddy after rainfall.
