Capital Ring and Canal Loop

A long loop from Finsbury Park (can easily be adjusted to start/end at the station) encompassing part of the Capital Ring and sections of the Regents Canal, the Herford Union Canal and the River Lea. Lots of spots for drop outs and refeshments. Note that at the time this route was walked (March 2021) the Hertform Union Canal was closed for repairs so a diversion through Victoria Park was necessary, this is very easy to do and you just run parallel to the towpath for most of the way and join the Regents canal shortly after the two waterways meet.
