GETTING STARTED
The GPX starts at the junction of The Street and Hollow Lane, Shotesham, but you can start anywhere along The Street. Put NR15 1YG in your satnav. We parked on a grass verge. If you intend to use the Globe pub you might be able to park in their car park or there is the car park outside All Saints church, but check.
The walk is clockwide. Head along The Street, then right onto Rogers Lane near the church and you will very soon see Boudicca Way on your left, just before the stream.
BOUDICCA WAY
The Boudicca Way is a 36 miles long distance path from Diss to Norwich, named after Boudicca, the Queen of the Iceni in East Anglia who led a rebellion against the Romans in 60 AD.

FOUR CHURCHES OF SHOTESHAM
The walk passes al four flint churches of Shotesham. The first is the main church of All Saints in the centre of Shotesham, at the start of the walk.
The second is the ruined remains of St Martins, with the tower and parts of the church wall. Next to it is St Marys church, which is usually open and worth a visit. Look out for the Judas hole in the door and the lizards on the door knocker.
Finally, towards the end of the walk watch out for a sign on a gate for St Botolphs church. OK, so its three churches and a small pile of stones. Not much remains of the church, but the view from the bench at the end of the church site is good.
