An easy 7.9 km one-way walk between the adjacent stations of Benaoján and Jimera de Libar with no major ascents or descents, and the simplest of navigation.
The trail follows a delightful hill-side path along the east bank of the Guadiaro valley, which provides some beautiful views down onto the river itself, and also across the valley to the imposing Sierra Benaoján.
The rail line also follows the river and the trail gives an insight into the geotechnical challenges of carving a safe route through unstable slopes!
