Anello Altopiano del Salto

Si parte dalla stazione a monte della Funivia di San Genesio. Si attraversa tutto il paese e poi si prende in direzione Locher. Il sentiero procede tra due salite ed un tratto di saliscendi fino al Gasthof. Da qui si procede per il tratto più ripido fino all'Altipiano vero e proprio. Seguendo le indicazioni si raggiunge ancora in leggera salita la Malga Gschnofer. Da qui si attraversa il cuore dell'altopiano attraverso un sentiero tra degli steccati fino a raggiungere il sentiero per Lavena. Da qui si va in discesa verso il Tomanegger (con il suo Castagno enorme davanti). Da qui si rientra al paese (ed alla funivia) per un sentiero con dei saliscendi ed un tratto asfaltato.

It starts from the top station of the San Genesio Cable Car. You cross the whole country and then take the direction Locher. The path proceeds between two climbs and a stretch of ups and downs to the Gasthof. From here we proceed for the steepest stretch up to the actual Plateau. Following the indications, you still reach the Gschnofer Restaurant slightly uphill and from there you reach the hearth of the Plateau till the path to Lavena. After you descend to the Tomanegger downhill (with its huge chestnut in front). From here we return to the town (and the cable car) through a path and after a paved road.
