Walking in Ross
Welcome to The Ross Walking Festival, in the beautiful county of Herefordshire
This festival runs annually in September and presents a fantastic selection of organised walks for all abilities. This is your opportunity to explore rolling hills, the dramatic cliffs and wooded hills of the lower Wye, and the ancient Forest of Dean.
Walks range from easy strolls along the Wye River on the lookout for birds, to energetic adventures around the caves of the Wye Valley Gorge area.
Tickets for guided walks during the festival may be purchased on the Ross Walking Festival website here
To give you a taster of the festival, the organisers have created a selection of popular walks from previous festivals, available as a self-guided walk using Outdooractive.
Route maps and descriptions are available in the Contents tab, see above.
