
Vale of Glamorgan Walking Festival
This part of Wales, situated on the coast between the Gower and Cardiff, is rich walking country. Its fertile rolling lowland countryside adjoins the romantic Heritage Coast, with towering cliffs and remote beaches. The Vale, as it’s known locally, is a maze of footpaths, country lanes, little villages, fine dining and country inns.
During the Vale of Glamorgan Walking Festival, you can enjoy a spectacular variety of walks for all levels, travelling in good company and guided by experienced walk leaders.
The Vale of Glamorgan Walking Festival was established in 2009 and is organised by volunteers of the charity Valeways who are working to ensure the sustainability of the festival in future years.
