The Suffolk Walking Festival (May - June) is one of the largest in the UK and is an annual celebration of all that Suffolk has to offer for walkers.

The picturesque countryside, made famous by the paintings of John Constable, includes two areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and over 60 Nature Reserves. The largest, RSPB Minsmere, is the past home of BBC Springwatch and an ideal location for outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, bird watching and photography.

To keep up to date with information about the festival, please visit the Suffolk Walking Festival website.

To give you a taster of the festival, the organisers have created a selection of popular walks from previous festivals, available as a self-guided walk using Outdooractive.

Route maps and descriptions are available in the Contents tab, above.
